Welcome to the Ferguson Valley Mountain Bike Club ("the Club," "we," "us," or "our") website (swmtbc.asn.au). By accessing or using this website, registering for membership, making a donation, or purchasing coaching services through this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

About Us

The Ferguson Valley Mountain Bike Club is a not-for-profit club based in Western Australia, dedicated to building and maintaining mountain bike trails and supporting the local riding community.

Use of This Website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent, to register for membership or make purchases through this website.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering or making payments.

You agree not to misuse this website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the website at our discretion, without notice.​

Membership

Membership tiers, pricing, and inclusions are as described on the Membership page and may change from time to time.

Membership fees are payable in advance and are generally non-refundable except at the Club's discretion or as required by law.

Membership does not guarantee access to any specific trail, event, or facility, which may be subject to third-party landowner permissions or conditions outside the Club's control.

The Club reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel membership at its discretion, including for conduct inconsistent with the Club's values or safety requirements.​

Donations

Donations made through the donation feature are voluntary contributions to support trail building and maintenance.

Unless otherwise stated, donations are non-refundable.

Where applicable, the Club will provide relevant documentation for tax purposes; however, donors should confirm their own eligibility for any tax deduction with a qualified advisor.

Trail Use and Third-Party Content

Trail information (including any Trailforks embed) is provided for general guidance only. Trail conditions can change, and the Club does not guarantee the accuracy or currency of this information.

Riders use trails entirely at their own risk and are responsible for complying with any signage, land manager rules, or seasonal closures.

Links to third-party websites or embedded content (such as Trailforks) are provided for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party content or services.

Sponsors

Sponsor logos, listings, and directory content are provided for informational purposes as part of the Club's sponsorship arrangements. Inclusion does not constitute an endorsement by the Club of any sponsor's products or services, nor vice versa.

Payments

Payments made through this website are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.

You are responsible for ensuring your payment details are accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to the Club and may not be reproduced without permission, except where sponsor or third-party content is separately owned by its respective party.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Club excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or participation in Club activities, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of data, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
